Last update of this document: 2026-05-18
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of the BacklinkHealth website, user interface, app, and related services. By using our website or service, signing up for an account, or submitting data to BacklinkHealth, you accept these terms in full.
If you disagree with these terms or any part of these terms, you must not use BacklinkHealth. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the service.
2. Copyright Notice
Copyright (c) 2026 Onjects Ltd. Subject to the express provisions of these terms, we and our licensors own and control all copyright and other intellectual property rights in our website, app, brand, interfaces, and materials.
3. Licence to Use the Website and Service
You may view pages from our website, use BacklinkHealth through a web browser, and use the service for your own business purposes in accordance with these terms.
Except as expressly permitted, you must not copy, modify, resell, sublicense, redistribute, or exploit any material from BacklinkHealth for a commercial purpose without our written permission.
4. Acceptable Use
You must not use BacklinkHealth in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability, performance, or security of the service.
You must not use BacklinkHealth for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, abusive, or malicious activity, or to transmit malware, spyware, viruses, or similar software.
You must not conduct systematic scraping, data harvesting, or automated interaction with our website or app except through APIs or import tools we expressly provide.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information you supply through BacklinkHealth is true, accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.
5. Use on Behalf of an Organisation
If you use BacklinkHealth on behalf of a company, agency, client, employer, or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms. References to "you" include both the individual user and the relevant organisation.
6. Registration and Accounts
You may register for an account by completing the account registration form and setup process. You must not allow any unauthorised person to use your account, and you must notify us immediately if you become aware of unauthorised access.
You must not use another person's account unless you have that person's express permission.
7. Login Details
If you create an account, your email address is used as your user ID and you will choose a password. You must keep your password confidential and are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
8. Backlink and Monitoring Data
BacklinkHealth lets you store and monitor backlink source URLs, target URLs, anchor text, expected rel attributes, client or workspace information, check history, alerts, and related operational data.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and ownership rights of the data you submit. You must not submit data that you are not permitted to process or monitor.
You grant us the rights needed to store, process, analyse, and display your submitted data for the purpose of providing BacklinkHealth to you and your authorised users.
9. Link Checks and Third-Party Websites
BacklinkHealth checks public web pages and records technical information such as HTTP status codes, redirects, page availability, detected links, rel attributes, and anchor text. Third-party websites can change, block requests, rate-limit traffic, remove pages, redirect URLs, or return inconsistent results at any time.
We do not control third-party websites and do not guarantee that a check result, alert, report, or status label will always be complete, current, or error-free. You remain responsible for reviewing important results before making business decisions.
10. Subscriptions, Fees, and Trials
Some parts of BacklinkHealth may be free, trial-based, or subscription-based. Subscription fees, plan limits, monitored-link limits, check cadence, included users, and feature access are described on the pricing page or inside the app.
We may vary fees, plan limits, or included features from time to time by posting new information on the website or inside the app. Changes will not affect services already paid for unless stated or required by law.
If you make an unjustified chargeback, dispute, or reversal, you may be liable for the amount reversed and any reasonable costs incurred by us in resolving it.
11. Cancellation and Suspension
We may temporarily suspend or cancel accounts that breach these terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay fees when due, or misuse the service.
You may cancel your account through account settings when that functionality is available, or by contacting us at [email protected].
12. Reports, Alerts, and Integrations
Reports, alerts, webhooks, exports, and integrations are provided for operational convenience. Delivery may depend on third-party services such as email providers, Slack, Discord, payment providers, hosting providers, DNS providers, and API partners.
You are responsible for configuring integrations correctly and for protecting webhook URLs, API keys, exported reports, and shared links.
13. Your Content and Content Rules
Your content must not be unlawful, infringe another person's rights, contain malicious code, be fraudulent or misleading, or create legal liability for us or any third party.
If we reasonably believe that your content or use of the service breaches these terms, we may remove, restrict, suspend, or delete the relevant content or account access.
14. Limited Warranties
We do not warrant that BacklinkHealth will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may discontinue or alter any part of the service at our discretion.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations and warranties relating to BacklinkHealth and your use of the service except as expressly stated in these terms.
15. Limitations and Exclusions of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, we will not be liable for business losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of goodwill, loss or corruption of data, indirect loss, consequential loss, or losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against losses, damages, costs, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of BacklinkHealth, your submitted data, your integrations, or your breach of these terms.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
BacklinkHealth may include links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. Such links and integrations are not endorsements. We are not responsible for third-party websites, policies, data practices, availability, or content.
18. Trade Marks
BacklinkHealth, Onjects Ltd, our logos, and our other registered and unregistered marks belong to us. You may not use those marks without our written permission.
19. Variation
We may revise these terms from time to time by publishing a new version on the website. The revised terms will apply from the date of publication unless otherwise stated.
20. Assignment, Severability, and Third-Party Rights
We may assign, transfer, subcontract, or otherwise deal with our rights and obligations under these terms. You may not do so without our prior written consent.
If any provision of these terms is determined to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These terms are for our benefit and your benefit and are not intended to benefit or be enforceable by any third party.
21. Entire Agreement, Law, and Jurisdiction
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of BacklinkHealth.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
